Bouzouki Irlandais à 10 cordes
Voici une série de photo d’un Bouzouki Irlandais à 10 cordes que je viens de terminer.
Le bouzouki Irlandais est un instrument sur lequel il y a peu d’information et beaucoup de variantes de cet instrument existe. Celui-ci à été réalisé tout à fait sur mesure pour mon client.
Il est réalisé en noyer Américain, la table est en épicéa et le manche en acajou du Honduras.
Il à un diapason de 580mm (banjo), 10 cordes doublées et un chevalet à chevilles (type folk).
Je remercie Monsieur Franck Cheval pour ses précieux conseils sur la réalisation de la rosace tri-lobe. Je me suis permis de faire un petit clin d’œil dans la décoration de cette rosace avec une incrustation en ébène.
Here is a few pictures from an Irish bouzouki that I’ve just finished.
There is only few informations and documentations about the Irish Bouzouki and there is many different variation of it. This one was completely custom made for my customer.
The back and sides are in American walnut, the soundboard is in spruce and the neck in Honduras mahogany.
It has a 580mm scale (as many banjo), and 10 strings on a folk type pin bridge.
I thanks Mr Franck Cheval for his advises on the tri-lobe soundhole realisation. I’ve made a little reference to his wonderful work with the ebony inlays of the soundhole.
